How to Throw a Holiday Gift Giving Party

If you're anything like us, one of your favorite parts about the holiday season is the gift exchanges. Whether it's a Secret Santa with a close group of friends or a White Elephant gift exchange with relatives, we look forward to them year after year. Not only are gift exchanges tons of fun, but they're also the perfect excuse to throw a holiday party! We teamed up with Amy of Amy's Party Ideas to help us put together the perfect gift giving soiree. Check out our ideas!

Provide plenty of snacks

This is the first rule of any party, of course! Our favorite snacks to serve during Christmas parties include fresh baked cookies and cute finger foods. When you put them out on this festive Christmas tray with holiday napkins, they're almost to pretty to eat!

Keep the glasses full

Now that you've got the food down, beverages are next. For a Christmas party, you can never go wrong with some warm, homemade cider. If the party is in the evening, opt for red wine instead. Don't forget to serve the drinks in these gorgeous holiday wine glasses and Christmas mugs.

Give thoughtful gifts

Shopping for others can be hard, especially when you're doing a White Elephant and there's no telling who will get your gift. Some of our go-to favorites for gift exchanges include this family ornament photo frame and the state slate wine note.

Keep them entertained

After gifts have been exchanged and there's some downtime, bring out these festive Christmas crackers! The kids love them and let's face it, the adults love them too.
